Health, Safety & Environment Plan
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. The health. Safety & environment plan (HSEP) represents minimum working standards / practices to be observed and
implemented .to follow in conjunction with all local and international practices.
1.2. Our ultimate goal for health. safety &environmental improvement is the elimination of looses in all activities involving
people ,equipment ,materials. In addition to protecting the environment .we seek to effectively control all hazards and reduce the
risk to all personnel to a zero incident level.
2. OBJECTIVES
2.1. Health
2.1.1. To provide medical facilities on site through establishing sufficiently equipped first aid station.
2.1.2. To provide First Aid Treatment and the necessary equipment for its administration on site.
2.1.3. To properly track and register first cases on a logbook designed for such purposes. The cases are to be classified as
“Medical”.
2.2. Safety
2.2.1. To prevent all occupational accidents by implementing the necessary safety procedures for such purposes.
2.2.2. To prevent off-duty accidents by implementing proper safety control procedures for after-hours.
2.2.3. Establishing a comprehensive Safety Organization Chart that organizes authority and responsibilities.
2.2.4. To promote safety awareness and consciousness in employees and ensure implementation of safety procedures through
proper safety awareness.
3.3. Environment
3.3.1. To increase the level of awareness, understanding and acceptance of environmental responsibilities by employees.
3.3.2. To reduce or eliminate the creation of pollution through efficient use of raw material, energy or other resources.
3.3.4. To minimize environmental impact.
3- PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE):
• Safety hamlets
• Safety goggles and / or glasses whenever needed.
• Work boots.
4-EQUIPMENT
• All equipment must be inspected &calibrated prior the beginning of the work, defects affecting the safe operation must be
corrected before the equipment is used. Each piece of equipment should be checked for fuel and/or oil leaks.
• Only experienced operators will be allowed to operate equipment.
• Only the number of persons required to operate the equipment will be allowed on the equipment
5-FACILITIES
• All connections for electricity, water supply and other temporary facilities shall be in accordance with local and contractual
requirements.
7 – SITE MAPS:
• First aid equipment.
• Emergency exits (evacuation).
• Where applicable, all employees working at the work site should possess a site badge.
• ALL access ways and emergency exits shall be kept free of obstructions.
• Adequate illumination shall be provided in all areas.
• Firefighting equipment shall be provided to protect personnel, temporary works, material storage, offices, and records
• Workers remain a safe distance from the auger so they can not fall into all
• Electrical plates inside shall be supplied by automatic keys (turn off automatic).
8- CONTROL OF SUPPLIED PRODUCT
• Safe handling and storage of our customer – supplied product will eliminate personnel injuries and damage to the products.
• Special precautions will be taken during handling and storage of relatively dangerous materials/ products.
